What is the Student Visa?

The UK Student Visa is for international students aged 18 and over who wish to study a full-time course at a UKVI-licensed educational institution. You must hold a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) from your institution before applying.

Eligibility Requirements

An unconditional offer from a UKVI-licensed (Student sponsor) institution
A Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) reference number
Sufficient funds to cover tuition fees and living costs
English language proficiency at B2 level (IELTS, TOEFL, OET etc.)
TB test certificate if required for your country
Aged 18 or over (those aged 16–17 must apply for a Child Student Visa)
